History
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, situated within the Faculty of Computer and Informatics Sciences at Eskişehir Technical University, was established through strategic initiatives coordinated by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), aligned with global digital transformation goals and the industry's demand for highly qualified experts. The department commenced its academic activities in the 2025-2026 academic year, admitting its inaugural students under the umbrella of the Faculty of Computer and Informatics Sciences, which was established by Presidential Decree No. 8785, published in the Official Gazette on August 2, 2024.
